Abstract:

Results of the optical contamination cavity tests for the Vishay IR-LED TSTS7100, which are used in the B-OSEM assembly in Advanced LIGO, are given in this document. The potential optical absorption and scatter loss due to the presence of this device is within acceptable limits. Use of this device in the B-OSEM assembly is approved.
