Abstract:
This is a technical note meant to accompany the SpinTaylor waveform review to explain how the derivative of the Newtonian angular momentum is computed.
A future development would be to include in the code instantaneous spin-squared terms.
The document comes with four Wolfram Mathematica notebooks to compute the SpinTaylorT1,4,5 phasing, spin precession equations, spin-dependent term of the orbital angular momentum, and align spin terms in TaylorF2 phasing formula.
Warning: some features of the Mathematica files require the FeynCalc package.
