Abstract:

I am developing a process where a Nikon D7100 with an AF Micro Nikkor 200mm 1:4 D lens can be remotely controlled to take images of the optics, which are then processed in MATLAB using code that utilizes MATLAB’s Image Processing Toolbox. The program will count the number of particles and measure their various sizes, providing accurate and immediate information about the contamination on the optics.
