Parameter estimation sample release for GWTC-1

Abstract:

As an accompaniment to "GWTC-1: A Gravitational-Wave Transient Catalog of Compact Binary Mergers Observed by LIGO and Virgo during the First and Second Observing Runs", this page contains the associated data release of posterior (and prior) samples detailing the inference on the compact binary coalescence observations presented in the above publication.

Documentation for the content of the sample release, together with examples of how to access and create plots of the sample release content are available in the attached 'GWTC-1_sample_release.ipynb' notebook.

For the O1 events (GW150914, GW151012, GW151226), the samples provided below supersede the samples given in the O1 parameter estimation samples release.

NOTE: A fraction of events suffer from an issue with the application of priors for spin parameters. We have verified that none of the results are meaningfully impacted, but we recommend the any results using the previously released samples are recalculated once new updated samples are available to ensure that there are no significant implications for your analyses. Production of corrected samples is underway, and they will be shared here in the coming days, as soon as they are available.
