LIGO Document G2401862-v1
- The LIGO Hanford Observatory is advancing its isolation systems with the integration of a seismic platform interferometer pathfinder. This system is designed to measure differential length as well as 'inertial' rotations in pitch and yaw. By capturing these signals, the pathfinder provides feedback signals to the isolation platforms housed in the HAM2 and HAM3 vacuum chambers, significantly improving their ability to mitigate seismic disturbances. This presentation will detail the interferometer's design, its integration into the LIGO Hanford infrastructure, and the expected improvements in platform stability.
