Abstract:

Advanced LIGO instruments are in the second observing run (O2) which is ongoing and is expected to continue until late August, 2017. This talk will review the performance of LIGO instruments in O2, our understanding of the noise sources, and ongoing efforts to further improve the noise performance toward the next observing run O3.
