- Abstract:
- Squeezing in the GW detection band has been demonstrated some years ago. Currently a portable, compact squeezed light source for the GEO 600 detector is being set up in the cleanrooms of the AEI in Hannover, to be implemented into the GEO detection set-up. This contribution reports on the current experimental status as well as on the timescales for an implementation of squeezed states of light into GEO 600.
