These are some of the questions which came up after the LVK talk 1. What is the observability of the modes up the chain if the top mass is big? 2. which DOFs are critical to the performance? 3. What are tradeoffs of marionette vs. parallel chains for actuation of the optic? 4. What are the vibrational modes of a big top mass? 5. What about the other inputs to ASC (beam pointing, etc)? How important are these, can something be done about them? Who is working on this? 6. Can we add actuators do damp the bounce roll modes?
